Una buena manera de practicar inglés en manteniendo una pequeña conversación con nuestros/as niños/as. No podemos olvidar la importancia de los gestos para facilitar la compresión.
A 5 year-old routine:
"Good morning (Esther)"
How are you? →"I'm ... (happy, good, wonderful, great, sad, sleepy, hungry, angry, scared...)
What day is it today?
What day was it yesterday?
Then, tomorrow will be...
Can you tell me the days of the week? (or months).
What's your favourite season?
What's the weather like today?
What's your favourite colour? (or toy)
Do you have a pet?
Do you have any brothers or sisters?
Can you count from 1 to 20? (numbers)
Can you slither like a snake? (jump like a kangaroo, swim like a fish, stomp like an elephant...).
Otra forma muy efectiva de repasar vocabulario es a través del movimiento (TPR). Aquí os dejo algunos ejemplos:
Point to... (the door, window, floor, table, chair, pencil, eraser, schoolbag, markers, glue, scissors...).
Touch your... + parts of the body (nose, eyes, ears, head, hair, mouth, shoulder, knees, toes, back, tummy, arms, hands, legs, feet, toes).
"Simon says" (Simón dice...) + actions (sit down, stand up, run , jump, swim, run, tiptoe, turn around, fly...).
También pueden practicar inglés mientras mueven el esqueleto. ¡Vamos a bailar!
