Teacher: It is tall. It las 4 legs. It is yellow. It has brown dots.

Students: Giraffe.

• Mime the animal: Animals have different movements. A pupil does the movements, so the rest of the class can guess the animal.
• Memory game
• Animal bodies: They must match up the cards to complete their bodies.
• Camera: A fun game! They have to make pictures to the animals they see.

VOCABULARY (turnip, dog, cat, mouse, bird).

• ACT OUT! The teacher can use another vegetable and act out the story with children. Each child will have a flashcard, when any help is needed, the teacher will ask "Can you help me?". The student will come out and help to pull the vegetable up. It is important to stress the importance on the key phrases of the story.

• Food Fecth: Ponemos piezas de comida por toda la clase, cada niño meterá en la cesta de la compra el producto que se le pida. Model: "I would like an apple".

• Food jump: Colocamos aros en el suelo, productos alrededor de los aros y finalizaremos la gymkana con un plato. Los niños/as saltarán de un aro a otro, cogerán el alimento y lo depositarán en el plato. Language use: "I'm hungry. Put the apple in the plate".

• Fruit salad: Sentados en círculo, cada niño/a tendrá una flashcard con el tema trabajado. El profesor nombrará un alimento, los niños/as que lo tengan cambiarán de sitio rápidamente. Cuando el profesor diga Fruit Salad, todos/as cambiarán de sitio.

Jolly Phonics

Acabamos de empezar con el método Jolly Phonics en Infantil. Es un método para aprender los fonemas y las letras en inglés. 

Cada sonido representa un movimiento, apoyado por la imagen que representa el grafema y una canción pegadiza que ayudará a los niños a recordarlo fácilmente.
