CIRCLE TIME!

Una buena manera de practicar ingl茅s en manteniendo una peque帽a conversaci贸n con nuestros/as ni帽os/as. No podemos olvidar la importancia de los gestos para facilitar la compresi贸n.

A 5 year-old routine:

  1. "Good morning (Esther)"
  2. How are you?  "I'm ... (happy, good, wonderful, great, sad, sleepy, hungry, angry, scared...)
  3. What day is it today?
  4. What day was it yesterday?
  5. Then, tomorrow will be...
  6. Can you tell me the days of the week? (or months).
  7. What's your favourite season?
  8. What's the weather like today?
  9. What's your favourite colour? (or toy)
  10. Do you have a pet?
  11. Do you have any brothers or sisters?
  12. Can you count from 1 to 20? (numbers)
  13. Can you slither like a snake? (jump like a kangaroo, swim like a fish, stomp like an elephant...).
Otra forma muy efectiva de repasar vocabulario es a trav茅s del movimiento (TPR). Aqu铆 os dejo algunos ejemplos:
  1. Point to... (the door, window, floor, table, chair, pencil, eraser, schoolbag, markers, glue, scissors...).
  2. Touch your... + parts of the body (nose, eyes, ears, head, hair, mouth, shoulder, knees, toes, back, tummy, arms, hands, legs, feet, toes).
  3. "Simon says" (Sim贸n dice...) + actions (sit down, stand up, run , jump, swim, run, tiptoe, turn around, fly...).
Tambi茅n pueden practicar ingl茅s mientras mueven el esqueleto. ¡Vamos a bailar!
